Doctor — Specialist in Functional Medicine, Coaching & Neurosciences
A doctor and lawyer by training, Dr Gail SHARMAN has worked in two of the most demanding professional environments there are. It is this double experience — enriched by the daily challenges of an active mother — that has forged her deep and lived understanding of what chronic stress does to the body and the mind.
At the crossroads of functional medicine, biological terrain medicine and attentive patient care, she was trained directly by Dr MOUTON, an internationally renowned pioneer of functional medicine, and completed her training with the BSEM (British Society of Ecological Medicine), in collaboration with the ACNEM (Australian College for Nutritional and Environmental Medicine), a fully accredited program by the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.
Her conviction is simple: health cannot be reduced to the absence of disease — it questions the overall functioning of the body, identifies the breaking points, and provides long-term support. Stress, anxiety, exhaustion, burn-out: these manifestations are not inevitabilities, but the signals of a deep physiological imbalance that can be identified, understood and corrected.
Holding additional qualifications in coaching, NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming), neurosciences, mindfulness and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, she offers a unique approach that treats both body and mind simultaneously: first restoring biological balance through functional medicine, nutritional adjustments and precision testing; then accompanying life transformations with well-established psychological tools.
The goal is to restore biological balance at a deep level to preserve health durably — and allow each patient to rediscover energy, mental clarity, restful sleep and enjoyment of life.
Having started her practice in Hong Kong, Dr SHARMAN now sees patients in person in London as well as via teleconsultation, serving those overwhelmed individuals who wish to regain control of their health and their life.
