Dr Robert Arlt has been a paediatrician since 1992. He graduated from the Faculty of Medicine in Strasbourg and completed his paediatrics specialisation in Germany, in Tübingen and Böblingen. He has practised in France, Germany and the UK, gaining in-depth clinical experience across different healthcare systems. From 2008 to 2018, he worked at the Richmond Practice in London before joining La Maison Médicale, where he currently sees patients.
In his daily practice, Dr Arlt manages a wide range of paediatric conditions, including: food allergies and intolerances, enuresis, digestive disorders (constipation, diarrhoea, vomiting), respiratory or urinary tract infections, growth issues (height and weight), chickenpox, fever, recurrent infections, skin rashes, eczema, asthma, headaches, childhood diseases (measles, mumps, rubella), early childhood development, sleep disorders, travel-related consultations, vaccinations, and initial assessments in cases of behavioural concerns or suspected ADHD.
He also performs paediatric ultrasound scans (abdomen, urinary tract, masses, scrotum, infant hips and brain), and has recent experience in paediatric emergency care. He holds a certificate in allergen immunotherapy from the West German Working Group for Paediatric Pulmonology and Allergology (WAPPA).
Alongside paediatrics, Dr Arlt is trained in functional medicine, which he applies to both children and adults. This approach seeks to identify the underlying imbalances responsible for chronic symptoms and to respond with personalised care, taking into account lifestyle, nutrition, gut health, immune function and stress management.
Dr Arlt adopts a holistic and patient-centred approach, built on trust, empathy and adaptability, tailored to each stage of life.
