Physician – Endocrinologist and Specialist in Functional Medicine

As a child, Charlotte ROURE asked her parents the same question over and over: why? Having become an endocrinologist, she never stopped asking it — and it is precisely that question that led her to functional medicine.

Qualified in endocrinology in Nice in 2019, she spent several years in hospital departments of endocrinology and diabetology, in Nice and then in Chambéry. Private practice then became self-evident: being closer to the patient, and offering a more personalised medicine. She joined a health centre bringing together more than twenty healthcare professionals — a resolutely collaborative setting, where she led interprofessional projects, very much in keeping with the way she works.

Passionate about hormonology, and particularly about thyroid disorders and women's hormonal imbalances, she soon turned to functional medicine — to support those whose health is not fully addressed by conventional medicine.

Her approach follows the principles of functional medicine: tracing back to the root causes of imbalances rather than correcting markers alone, understanding physiology in detail, and personalising every course of care — always as a complement to allopathic treatment, never as a substitute.

French and Luxembourgish, she is returning to her roots: Dr ROURE holds endocrinology consultations at Dr Georges MOUTON's centre in Luxembourg, in person only. Her ambition is captured in her own words: “a deeper, more personalised medicine — one that makes more sense.”
