Physician – Specialist in Functional Medicine and Acupuncture

A general practitioner who graduated from the University of Versailles-Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines, Dr Laura PARYSchose to widen her therapeutic range beyond conventional prescribing. Holder of the inter-university diploma in scientific acupuncture from Paris-Sud University (Kremlin-Bicêtre) — a medical approach to acupuncture grounded in clinical assessment and research evidence — she now practises at the crossroads of general and integrative medicine.

Her doctoral thesis examined the musculoskeletal disorders that emerged during the health crisis and their association with the rise of remote working: research that reveals her interest in how living and working conditions act, silently, upon the body.

Her approach follows the principles of functional medicine: not merely silencing symptoms, but tracing back to the root causes of imbalances — posture, lifestyle, stress, working environment — and building personalised care. Acupuncture finds its natural place there, as a complementary resource within comprehensive medical follow-up.

Dr PARYS sees her patients in Paris. Her ambition: to combine the rigour of general medicine with the resources of integrative medicine — treating the cause rather than the symptom, and giving everyone back the means to act on their own health.
